9:09 a sick fox today.
the eagle wasn't near anymore.
9:45 the fox was still there.
now the fox is gone, too. only few crows and ravens are left.

The young eagle came out of a tree on Long Island and running to the boarskins on the ground, chasing some ravens away Was too late to take a pic of that ...

Around 12:30 one of the sick RDs was at the carcasses and then away again ..... I made a close up pic, but won´t post it, he looks too poor, half naked - he looks a bit like a Gremlin
I always wonder how they can survive in so cold winters nearly without fur ....

there were two buzzards! Bea's picture made me look at my recordings and i found a piece where they were both. i have had the volume down so i didn't hear them meow.
the first landed first in the back and then flew closer.
then it got up in the small pine on the left. after a while another buzzard came from the forest back-left and chased the first to the first pine on Long Island.
