16:18 fox seemed to attack on the RD! at least it wanted to chase the RD away from its skin.
the fox ran straight towards the RD but it had almost as much impact on the RD as if the fox had ran agaist a wall. the fox then settled on the other skin and the RD continued eating its own.

The fox has stolen meat(or what was that) once again.

the fox ate boar skin for quite some time. it made itself comfortable: it was lying on the skin.




then finally it got a piece ripped off and carried it to the forest. i think the piece may have been the foot with the hoof.

Jo what was the size maximum supposed to be? i don't think this picture of yours is so much too large that we should get worried about it.
you can always rezize it down with Paint if you like to...

it was something less than 1000 in width... just a sec...

i found your instrucitons in "Wellcome to Looduskalender forum (viewtopic.php?p=71#p71)

"Posting images, screen captures, etc.

Please restrict picture sizes to not greater than 800 x 600 pixels, except on special topics which are indicated."

yours was something like just above 1000 pixels in width so downscaling to 80 % should do the trick. - i think this guideline could read: "width not larger than about 800 and/or hight les than about 600". whichever is larger should determine. fixed size can lead to distorted proportions in the picture (stretched either in height or width; unnaturally long-necked eagles for example )

i haven't been so fussy about the sizes of pictures here though there have been some slightly oversized pictures. -why that has happened is a bit of a mystery to me, because the default size that our cameras give is within the limits.

i'm so lazy person that i always do things in the easiest way. rezing pictures is extra trouble to me. the screencaptures we get from these cameras are within limits so my philosophy is "why to change the size?". -Renno's pictures of his babies have been another thing. normal camerapictures are so much oversized that i have rescaled then to smaller sizes.

ame, the guideline for picture size indicates a maximum size. Any other, smaller image is also acceptable.
So I broke the rules with that super view - too bad! We are not going to have many more opportunites to see our moonlit view.

oh it was that kind of joke. i didn't remember the size, i had check again...

anyway i think that i wasn't the only one who didn't remember so a reminder was not so out of order...
first i didn't even remember there were instructions of the size at all...

at 21:09 there were two raccoondogs.


21:13 the other had gone to the side of Long Island. there's a dark spot near the first trees. the other is still eating skins.


4:20 Moon had moved so that the meadow was in shadow and only the treetops in the back were in light.
