December 17th

The stick is very good for hiking. Sometimes it is driven back and forth by the current.
Sometimes it looks like a gust of wind is sweeping across sand on the ground. :innocent: Interesting to see it in the water as if it were outside.
And yes, there are indeed fish. At least one. I have the feeling that it's always the same.
Pike?

Water fleas? :puzzled:

Actually, I always compare them to seahorses in my mini pond
(without fish, only beetles and various larvae and adders  ). Because of the way they move. This in the photo can be something different. But what? Very active today ... in swarms.

Good Morning

Neeee Polly ... I think that's a trout! (I believe)
You know, it's good to watch an osprey webcam. Now I distinguish at least two types of fish (pike and trout)
I don't know anything about hoppers...(fleas)

I looked and searched and could not find it. :puzzled:
Then I saw it was the fishing camera in Latvia

I also doubted the pike but at 13:04 I let myself be confused by the pointy mouth. But the picture is likely not accurate. And ... I only know trout with more points. More structure in the skin. This seemed very simple to me.

But - did I mention that I have no idea? Yes. :rotf:

Well there was another fish around 09:30. It was difficult to fish. Bad picture. Sorry .

Then I had to close all the cameras because I had to go to work.

Fleur, yes. 8-)
This camera has now moved up in my media library. Easy to find. Apart from a webcam from Robert E. Fuller and the hawks in Riga, there are currently few favorites for me. I like to stay in familiar places. :innocent: I don't like jumping between many cameras.

But a serious question:
Is this the way the camera is set? No doubt entertaining at times, but what is the point of the work and financial resources? What should we pay attention to here? When I consider some other cameras to be locked. :puzzled:

Which I personally find more promising because they present more of the environment even if the nest life is a bit quiet.

So, good night @all.
Stay safe! :innocent:

Polly ... this is something prehistoric
@sova, nothing can be as prehistoric as I currently feel.

But actually I googled which wood could be on the ground. I only know driftwood. And when I wanted to build an aid for my pond so that young birds and frogs could save themselves, I had to experience that it is not easy. The wood always wanted to go up.
But this one is just below.

Fleur, my goodness ... you're right. I did not want to confuse you. :rotf:
But I hadn't noticed that this camera belongs to Latvia. Even when I wondered why your recordings look so different from mine. Excuse me! :slap:
