downy feathers on the wings are almost gone by the oldest
Griffon Vulture in black this white collar reminiscent of those birds

14:36 the youngest is doing strong wing exercises
15:50 only two feedings till now!
I very much hope that this will not be the beginning of problems. It hasn't rained and it won't rain. You don't have to be very smart to know what it means!
There are still many days before they can fly!
It's getting hot again, every day a little more - I see it in the weather forecast.
2 unfavorable factors, too hot, dry weather and late breeding. one of them would have been enough!

black things
I would like to remind that birds in that age cope with less food than the youngest chicks. Not all birds have always continously optimal food resources. For example big eaglets are sometimes held without feeding by their parents - they tolerate days without food, they have to, in the real life it is a simple fact: there is not food every single day available.

I only wrote facts. Hot and dry weather - that's a fact! Late brood - that's a fact.
It has nothing to do with eagles. You can absolutely not compare black storks and their habitat with eagles. and! The eagles are in no hurry, they don't migrate!
17:34 Grafs
he brought a lot of fishes

Do you mean that storks are a species that must always have optimal food resources in order to survive? I have hard to believe it. It must be rare in the bird world that a species doesn't ever suffer of lack of food. Single days with less food must be common for all the species - not every such day is a dead doom. Hunting circumstances differ for all birds.
Another thing is to emphasize worries after worries - I personally find such a tendence depressing to follow. Especially when this nest has showed that even you have been surprised of the success so far ...

evening pictures
six feedings !
The oldest is 44 days old. still 16 days until the first possible fledge (The earliest documented fledge was 56 days in a nest with 4 chicks) On average, they spend 65-72 days in the nest, depending on the food available.
Hatch Times:
June 12th
June 14th
June 15th
BTW: There are documented cases of late broods.
In late broods or 2nd clutch, the chicks often do not fledge until the end of August or beginning of September.
For example, on a nest in Schleswig-Holstein, as well as on 2 nests in Mecklenburg-Pomerania.
since they were without a transmitter, it is not known whether they made it to Africa
