chrisitz, Baska and Sue, you're welcome
10:14 Gaja is feeding again.. but it seems to me, it is not the best food. Old black ...
The storklets are not interested .
Their crops are fully .. so it is not important in the moment.
Kaupo will come soon with fresh little fishes

11:58 Gaja got up for feeding. Several times she tried to regurgitate the food in vain; in the end it works. She gave the chicks some unknown black pieces, as Liz has written.
So cute
12:00 She regurgitates dark little pieces ...
The storklet behind has swallowed some of the pieces. The storklet in front I didn't see eating.
Gaja took also some pieces back.
You're welcome all! :)

Feeding from 12:59
The storklet which looked to the left, has needed a quite long time to notice that there was a feeding.
The other is quickly on the way to the fishes.
Finally the second storklet has also found the food.
In the food have beside some small fishes also been very thin, but long xxx? Could it have been worms or something? They don't look like fishes.

13:17 Kaupo feeds again.
It seems to be really a kind of worms Kaupo wants to feed. The storklets cannot eat them, they are much too long. But both have found some other things to eat between them. Maybe there are also smaller worms?
Proud looking dad
He watches his children while they eat.
Kaupo again has taken back most of the food.
I must say, that Kaupo and also Gaja are both very careful with their babies. They look where they step, - do not step on the little ones. They are always watching them. I'm very glad about it.

13:58:59 Again feeding, of course the same strange food.
Both storklets could manage - after some trying - to swallow some smaller food.
They must be full now.
But it's difficult to see what exactly they eat. The distance of the cam is a little too big to see all details. Nevertheless I appreciate this beautiful cam view a lot.
13:59:33 Both are trying to eat.
14:00:32 The crop from the left storklet is full!
14:00:45 After it had swallowed a little worm, it fell immediately to the side.
But it quickly got up again.

14:38 Kaupo has fed the storklets again.
This time both storklets had managed to swallow quite long worms. The one from with I think it's the second hatched storklet had some trouble to swallow the long thing. First I thought, Kaupo would take it back; but finally the small storklet was successful. But it was surely a big effort for it.
14:41:16 The smaller one with the long worm is on the left.

15:17 Kaupo feeds his offspring one more time.
At least one storklet has eaten something; with the other one I'm not sure. This time Kaupo has taken back the food quite quickly.
I wonder that the storklets have eaten so much from these worms. I could imagine they would prefer some nice little fishes. :)

15:51 Kaupo again offered the worms. He has an exhaustless stockpile.
A while ago I thought, all the worms should be eaten meanwhile. But I was mistaken.
One storklet has eaten. The other tried several times, but this time it could not manage it. The food was too big for it. Kaupo has taken back the worms after a while.
It's hardly possible, to get a sharp picture from the storklets. They move their heads so quickly when they are eating.
