I really do believe she is Gaja because of their both warm relationship. I don't think such relationship so full of love would be with strangers who meet and mate only by instincts. Unfortunatelly i am not good in comparison of visual appearances. All storks for me seem in one face

BTW: I will meet Maris S, maybe we can talk about it

Nice! It would be very interesting.
Still i remember how Gaja landed into the Kaupo nest the first time and how they greet each other at the first moment happily singing without breath crossing their beaks.
But visually i am not able to compare them

@ Emotion_
yes indeed, i also think is need to watch them very often, intensive, intently to distinguish them. I can only see who male and who female...

If You remember, Gaja and Kaupo grew up 4 (!!) beautiful storklets last season. They did n't have any thought to eliminate anyone. I am glad to see that this season they have vocation. This couple deserved it. They behave as just married

Good Morning all Emotion, Birdfriend, Solo, Abigyl and all
Birdfriend, thanks a lot for beautiful pictures and reporting I enjoy that very much
the cam is offline since 2:39!
I think there were strong thunderstorms in Latvia as well?
Yesterday we had a very bad weather again. The poor birds. It was hailing and there were incredible amounts of rain in a very short time. The day before was a state of emergency in Berlin. Everything was under water. As in Estonia, there was heavy rain all night and many flashes. After seeing the pictures of the storklets on the Estonian nest, I can imagine how bad it was for storks and other big birds.
