Asteria, thank you very much for posting the link
The nest has been empty every time I have checked the last days, and it's great to see that all is well with Marcis, Metra and Macho.

Today I read in the news of "Deutsche Wildtier Stiftung" the batteries of the cam are empty. But Marcis (or Pepe as they called him on their page) visited the nest every now and then.

It's the time of the year we finish and close up the summer nests. I want to thank everyone who participated here in the forum and shared pictures, videos and observations! We had a successful nest time and saw a strong young eagle fly out! Wind under your wings, Mārcis, and always enough frogs, voles and moles to eat! Have a good and long life!
My thanks go also to our Latvian friends who keep us supplied with information and pictures and also to the project in Teici, Dr. Bergmanis and everyone else involved supplying the camera and the stream!

I hope to see everyone back next year, including Mētra and Mačo after a safe journey!

I hope Mārcis, Mētra and Mačo are well, stay safe in their wintering grounds and will return safe from their journey.
I would like to say a HUGE thank you to all persons who made it possible so we could watch this webcam and follow a little part of the nest-life of this beautiful eagle-family.
