It's really difficult to see if there is already an egg in the nest-bowl. Nestbowl is so deep (but also safe).
We will see....

I´m happy that Metra and Macho decided to breed in their nest this year again - was in sorrow that they would not, because of the radical timberwork around them ....

Every time when I take a look to the cam, Metra is sitting in the nest. Maybe she has really an egg laid and is incubating now.

Manu, it was probably an egg yesterday, or even 1 May. I see the egg on your picture, and Macho was on egg too. Thank you for great pictures

When Metra laid an egg already on May 1 it is possible or isn't it ?

It is possible but I am not sure that the second egg will hatch like last year. LSE Grieta always ate all the second eggs after 2008.
