12:22h I don't know if there was a food delivery :puzzled: . Cam was frozen and I saw only this picture

I think on the left side it is a glimpse of a parent to see.

17:52h Mārcis is doing a lot of jumpings and wing exercises.
It's the first time I noticed this "white thing" on his breast/crop :puzzled: . I'm confused what is it... Only white feathers? It looks very strange.

Maybe Mārcis has too big crop? :rotf: (I think I´ve seen a white chest also on Kai, but not that big.)

Yes, it looks like his crop is nearly bursting.

Starling: Good, you noticed this "white thing" on Kai too. So it is maybe really because his crop is so full.

Good to know. Everytime when I take a look to the cam, he was alone in the nest.

As I remember it, Mārcis has been much more alone in the nest, than Miks was last year. Is that right?

21:41 - But when the evening arrives, Metra arrives too  I think Eha could learn a little from Metra on that point

Yes, I think you are right  .

When I wrote I saw Mārcis today the most time alone in the nest, I meant exactely: I didn't see a delivery or feeding. I'm sorry, it was a mistake of mine  .

It's really interesting to see the different behaviour of Eha and Metra. Metra isn't much at home during daytime but she spent nearly every night in the nest.

Manu, a great idea! An Oriole..I would have guessed, so different from the call it makes in the spring. Thank you, Vainamoinen.
Manu, also thank you for your pictures from today

19:54 - I think Mr McNasty yelling again! Mārcis is curious about him, Metra seems tired..

19:55 - Very tired indeed..
