21:12 - Metra has been calling all evening, but I have not seen Macho. So maybe ants/insects is all that she has eaten today
Image
22:08 - Good night, dear Metra..

With such food shortages, I think it must be best if the egg don´t hatch. It would be terrible if the chick would not get any food:((

3. June

Good morning :hi:

So far this morning, Metra has been quiet, and no sign of Macho:( She stood up and checked the egg some minutes ago.

08:22 - After the egg check she took maple leaf in her beak, and they stayed there for quite a while..
Image
Maybe she is thinking of becoming a vegetarian? Would have solved a lot of problems
Image
08:37 - Still maple leafs in her beak.. I hope they are not stuck, or is it another reason??

12.22 Mētra stands up and flies out, talking in the wood...
Image

Image

12.26 Mētra returns with a fresh twig... If she would be just starving she would go and hunt... I think she does not feel good and then animals refuse to eat and thus clean themselves ... maybe the twig is some treatment, too... Would like to hear the view of someone experienced with eagles... :puzzled:
