July 4

It sounds like there is sound but there isn't. A screen full of bird but no sound of birds.

13:17 After a lot of noise the sound is back. Many singing bird. Thank you, whoever it did.
(there is still some noise)
13:22 Still not good. Noises and nothing.

23:00 Because of the missing or disturbed sound the cam was difficult to follow most of the day, but I suppose there were not much eagles to miss.

Since 18:14 problems with the sound caused by the wind, but during an 'open' moment at 18:31 eagle calls nearby.

Hi Fleur. I don't know if I am the only one watching but I am for a long time the only one who is reporting. Almost everybody left as soon as it became clear that no cute little eagles where expected. I stayed because the eagles stayed and later were coming back all the time, and I was curious what would happen.
It helped that this is/was the webcam with by far the best sound quality of all, and with a fine community of birds. A pleasure to listen to all day. It made it easy for me to follow. Listening to this cam and switching to visual when it seemed necessary, and at the same time watching another cam. Very efficient.

Still no real sound and probably not enough wind to turn it on.
09:55 after a lot of noise there was real sound again, but mixed with crackles and silences.
10:02 It seems to be over again. The silence of fake wind and real crackles.
~10:15 Real sound and real wind again.

(The sister cam is working)

13:00 Still nothing.

22:10 The whole day no stream. Is it stopped? But why then is the other Latvian Lse cam still working?

Thank you, Liz. Perhaps then we know what is the matter and what we can expect. Closing the cam wouldn't be that strange, but if it is deliberate I don't understand why just this cam and not the other.

This will probably help not much, as the LSE cams are set up from a completely different organisation and team

July 17 http://live.ls.lv/mazaiserglis2/index.html

Earlier today the was still nothing but now the cam is back again! I had already given up any hope.
After all that 'black' days (since July 9) I can't say if there is something changed.
