wow, great that the nest is repaired
when the eagles will nest again they will probably complete the nest with new branches. You think too?

12:25 Hagnat, do you know what bird has been calling for at least half an hour now?
It sounds like a boy who is trying to whistle but hasn't got the hang of it yet.

I think you mean the Golden Oriole. It is not always so beautiful.

Of course I can not be sure that we are talking about the same sound, but I meant this http://www.xeno-canto.org/327282
A call probably more common than the well known whistling.

No, that is not what I meant, I know that scratchy Oriole call. It was just a soft 'whistle', like when you try to whistle after eating a dry biscuit, one note at a time, not melodious at all. Pity the bird has stopped now. Maybe he'll come back.

Must be something normal, otherwise I would have noticed it. To me keeping an ear on a cam mainly means 'ignoring' the usual.

I understand. But 'normal' is relative. It depends on what you are used to and where you live. I noticed it (now I hear him again 13:36) because I haven't heard it a lot. So was the Bull Finch new to me on the WTE cam last year. It doesn't live where I grew up.

11:53 I hear that bird again. Now it sounds more like a 'cry' than a soft whistle.

I haven't hear it because most of the time I have the sound of the other Lse cam on.

15:55 Woodpecker(?) attacking the microphone! Such a noise, he may demolish it…
15:59 he stopped. It sounds as if the microphone is still working.

16:01 Treecreeper. Maybe it was him.
