Hi Polly! Thanks for the beautiful stories about our couple!
Not too much happens yet, but Vita is a patient breeder.

Deli! :hi:
Yes, the time until the chicks hatch is a bit calmer. :innocent:

However, we have a very strong and idiosyncratic team here. They always prepare some action. :rotf:

First egg was laid on April 24th. Incubation period normally will take 34-41 days. So we have to wait for eight to ten days to see first hatching.

Image

So Teo took some more bites.

Image

5:35 Vita came back and got the fish.

5:51 She is back and takes over. No chance, Teo.

13:31 Teo brings a branch to decorate Vita and their home. She's not amused and takes flight.

Image

Now we have a special view on the scenery.
But Teo is not satisfied. Summarily he shortened the branch with his beak.

Deli, you will receive a huge thank you from me for your efforts in the past few days. :2thumbsup:
It is reassuring to read your posts after work ... reassuring that you let this nest live here. And reassuring that everything is as usual.

But...
14:50 Teo is in pause mode so Vita goes fishing herself. He takes over the eggs.
....that is new. :rotf:

Maybe and hopefully the chicks will have more passion for communication from other observers.
