They have forgotten how to pair ... Teo and Vita need a set-up when it comes to pairing.

Good to see and read that both are back in a good health.
This season I will only take a view from time to time, I'm more pessimistic because the goshawk has his territory also there.
Last year was hartbreaking.

Thank you Polly for your work here.

It is a pity that no one finds time for a short report, few words here. It's the same every year.
Only when something happens do everyone get in touch.
...
You are right, it's the same in other threads too...

It goes for other threads, too. LK is no more the same discussion forum :gathering: as it used to be, the videos and YouTube have driven over it. I, too, think it is a pity, it was fun when lots of people were gathered to follow the same nest - live - and commenting almost everything that happened there. But it is good that every nest has at least one active member posting, so thank you, Polly, for this thread! I come here daily and read your posts :D

Every word you say describes my mood and attitude to it. I really hope that the black grouse will not want to destroy the peaceful life of our beloved ospreys this season!

And I will pursue it - definitely.

I just don't know if I'll document it again.
...
Hello everybody :2thumbsup:

This nest can be documented by everyone! I can only report in detail occasionally.
So far, at least we haven't missed an egg ....

The nest looks divine!

Teo is a romantic and playful nest builder. I hardly know a nest that is so cozy. :innocent:

Owlie,
you are right (documenting life on the nest is time consuming for only one)

and FB is also a lot of competition, especially for everyone who doesn't care more deeply about life in that nest

btw. I also try to look into most of the threads in our forum every day - big thank to all :2thumbsup:

April 21st

There are two things I notice ...

Teo and Vita are building very high this season...on the sides
Well, in the meantime everything is filled with soft material but before you could see a real fortress of sticks, especially in the right nest area.
It's pure speculation on my part, but it might help that a chick can't be pushed off so easily.

Furthermore ... Teo often seems 'absent' to me. He avoids many pairings. :puzzled:

Vita is absolutely great! She does everything!
Still, something is inconsistent. Sorry, I can hardly define it.

No egg yet ...

All of you just one post every day - it would be good.

I'm on vacation right now. As you can call it that. Hence no pictures. It's too time-consuming with a cell phone.
