i suddenly saw a light spot in the meadow behind the oak, on the left side, almost in the centre of the picture. it must be a reflection of sunlight on a spot of water.

I too saw once such spot, but it between oaks was closer to top of kroner.

it has rained now in the autumn so there must be more water in the meadow (or bog) than in the summer (which was very hot and dry). i suppose that the trees have become more transparent to reflections now so they are easier to see. maybe also the Sun travels in a more favourable, i.e. lower path than in the summer, so that the reflections can reach the camera now.
