the weather is beautiful: sunshine and almost no wind.

7:14 cranes called so loud that they had to be rather near.

I don't know what kind of bird is at 16:30. She very fast.



At 18:36, a pigeon commotion on the right spruce.

9:14 a wood pigeon behind the kingfisher. another! a third! :D

9:18 Mr L flew home and Milda after him.

Mr L began to dig the nest bottom. Milda watched carefully to see what he was doing.

she began to help Mr L and then they poked their beaks together.
the red marks are well visible in Mr L's left foot.

Milda refused. - Mr L's tail looks so much similar to Milda's tail at times.

Milda poked Mr L in the face a few times. the latter (on the right) was almost a kiss.
she treated Raimis more roughly at times.

9:21 Milda went upstairs. Mr L still (again) has the red ring in his left ankle. it's not quite around the leg, but more on the outside of the ankle.

Mr L started working with the big stick which has been in a wrong place and position in the centre of the nest for a long time.

at about half past 11 it rained hails. :slap:
hails on the nest and green birches.
the hails soon melted away.

it sounded like rather far but it's possible that the wind was blowing the voices away.
