17:33 a flock wood pigeons returned. some landed on the spruce on the right and some flew by.
17:34 one probably landed on our top and some flew away.
17:37 a pigeon flew away from the spruce on the right.
17:39 a pigeon flew by to the left.
17:40 a wood pigeon flew to the poop branch.
17:41 the pigeon flew to one of the spruces on the right, not the tallest.
17:57 a wood pigeon flew away from the top of our tree and the spruce on the right.

18:26 a jay visited and talked in a beautiful way.
18:27 a jay again. maybe another, maybe the same. who can say. :whistling:
18:28:37 a light bird flew by from right to left. it looked too small for an eagle although the tail looked white. i think it was a wood pigeon. the jay didn't react, only looked at the bird.

Mr L looked at the pigeons fly away. he seemed to be annoyed.
At 17:24:15, big bird (the eagle?) flew from right to left. The eagle in the nest looked at him, then flew away in the same way.

aha, thank you Sonchik!
maybe the eagle was what Mr L was looking at that bird. i'll have to make a picture of that (later).
edit (9:37 in the next morning): now i saw that this bird flew by before Mr L came. the bird vanished above the swan pond a second before Mr L landed.
- the first bird was flying to the direction of the Fish Market. maybe Mr L was so much in a hurry because he was afraid that Milda might eat all the fish if he dawdled much longer.
Sonchik made a slow-motion close-up of this bird flying by. thank you Sonchik!

strange, so much noise there tonight. :puzzled:
is there really someone or is the wind shaking the sticks? if so, why don't we hear this in the daytime?

12:03 a strange eagle landed on the tip of the right branch. he (?) had a cone! a spotted eagle woodpecker? :rotf:
the feet look muddy (centre panel).
Image

the eagle dropped the cone. then the eagle jumped to the nest. thin ankles (and no rings). a male probably. spotty plumage: a subadult.

jays are keeping him company (i think it's a male although a big one. the beak is rather short and "well" curved). i think the jay(s) flew around him above. then one to the top.
Image

12:08 a jay on the top branch.
Image

the jay flew away and shrieked loud.

Image

then up again and some stick work...
then to the front right rim and preening...
