He will do all his duties... except bringing fishies

Ame, is he very very big or Milda lost much weight/volume? :puzzled:

Abigyl, i think he is big, bigger than Raimis.
let's see if he'll learn to deliver fish quicker than Raimis. it was a very difficult trick for Raimis.

it's becoming too dark to see Milda properly but she has been quiet for quite some time. she must be sleeping.

i'll make pictures tomorrow. it's bedtime for me. good night! :offtobed:

the new stick brought by Mr C doesn't fit Milda's decor. she got entangled with it and had to move it. in fact she was in some difficulty with it.
[img]https://up.picr.de/40970813fh.jpg[ /img]
....

That was a bit too much stick maneuver at once for Milda

The stick maneuver was preceded by a self-inflicted "mishap" by Milda:

20.44.14 - 20.44.25 Milda unintentionally lifts two big intertwined sticks out of the fence on the back left side with her tail. They fell apart, one remained a bit higher on the rails and one fell in the front area, which is the one shown in your picture of 20:44:26, which she is trying to move with her beak. It is not Mr C's new brought stick.

The big stick was in the rails already before Mr C arrived, his stick fell close at the nest bowl on the right (and if i saw right, with one end even on one egg).

20.44.26 Milda didn't seem entirely satisfied with the big stick that fell in the front area, so she tried to move it
And then, to make matters worse, when she tried to settle back on the eggs, then she gets tangled with another stick, which was laying closeby the nestbowl (perhaps this was the Mr C's new brought stick) :slap:
No, can not be, because:

20.42.14 already, i think Milda took Mr C's new brought stick off the egg and moved it onto the back rails.

EDIT: i corrected the times (all, what was written with 19... must be 20...) - sorry.
Thanks, Ajeta, for telling me

balistar :hi: May I just ask: Is that time correct? I just checked and Milda lay peacefully on the nest at 19:44:26 :puzzled:

(in the morning) i made a sample of the gunshots at 4:55. they came with similar even intervals between the shots. i guess that it was something else than hunting. who would hunt like that in darkness? :slap:
