18:16 Mr L climbed to the left branch.
- someone may be wondering why so many pictures of his tail. my aim is to make so many pictures of his tail in all possible positions that we will recognize his tail almost instinctively without thinking.

i think it was a wood pigeon. the colours can't be seen against the sky but the silhouette looks like that of a pigeon. i combined two consecutive images of the bird in this picture

the pigeon flew from the left edge of the picture and almost landed on the nest tree. she changed her mind when she saw that the tree was already occupied. :D

18:37 Mr L returned to the nest.
18:38 he flew away.

20:41 eagles sang nearby. a male and a female, probably Mr L and Milda.
Sonchik wrote: May 19th, 2021, 9:30 am At 21:41, too, briefly.
...
thank you Sonchik!
it sounded like they were commenting a crow's call.

22:30 there was a rustling sound nearby. it sounded loud but it was probably someone small doing something quite next to the microphone.

The same sound was at 20:43-20:44.
did you hear or see anything that might tell who was making the rustling sound? i didn't, except a few very high-pitched pee-pee.

nest work and almost kissing (?) :whistling:
Mr L seemed to tickle Milda's head very gently and didn't get really stabbed by Milda's beak although Milda reached to nibble his face.
Image

Mr L also seems to know when it is best to stop and take a step away from Milda in order not to get beaten. a humble attitude is wisdom.

7:34:22 someone flew to top from the left.
7:38:23 flew away. i think it was a wood pigeon.
-the light was bad.
Image

7:40:20 another wood pigeon flew away from the top.
the forest is so beautiful, fresh and green in the morning light. :headroll:
- i didn't hear or see the other pigeon arriving.

8:03 an eagle flew from the right and made a curve over the meadow, and then landed on the top branch.
the light was difficult and the eagle didn't co-operate for pictures.

8:18 the eagle flew away to the left.
it's quite impossible to say who it was. the tail was white, that's all.

8:31 two eagles called in the forest. a male and a female, Mr L and Milda probably. the voices came from "around the corner" or from "behind our backs".
Sonchik wrote: May 19th, 2021, 5:42 pm They started shouting at 8:28:36.
oh yes! thank you Sonchik!
they had a long talk. :D
i think i happened to find the 8:31-calls quite by accident. they were not "visible" in any way in the Solveig AVI Trimmer. i made new and longer clip of their conversation.
