21:00 a wood pigeon flew to the top.
Image

he sang there.
- it's amazing how well the sound is carried along the branches from the top to the microphone. it sounded like the wood pigeon landed somewhere near the microphone, but no, he flew to the top. :D

At 15:45, the bird passed behind the numbers of the time scale. Then she made a noise with her sticks somewhere to the right.

6:22:30 the eagle flew away out of sight and very quietly. only feathers hovered down on the nest after his take-off. he is in moult.

6:24 an eagle called very far. a male probably.
6:25 - 6:26 more calls. this time i heard also a female's voice.

the calls were almost inaudible. i didn't hear them although i think i was still next to the pc.
for finding the voices later i had to turn off other sounds and the video sound to 11.
thank you mega2!

the day has been fairly windless but yet there has been a soft rustling sound almost all the time. it can't be sticks or branches rubbing and scratching against each other. it must come from somewhere very near the microphone and it's probably not really loud at all. it reminds me of the sound which a wasp makes when she is gnawing and biting and peeling dead wood for nest material. ... but who knows what that sound really is. :slap:

8:06 a jay visited.

last summer everything was cancelled because of the corona. this spring has been the same.
if i understand correct the F-book page of the race track organization they were hoping to have races this weekend but it was cancelled. the locals were probably having a "consolation" party at the track. it's funny: they play the music on their loudspeakers although there can't be many people listening to it. ... except all of us around the world but they probably don't know it.

in the morning it was raining and at about half past 9 it was raining hard for about half an hour but it has stopped.
9:33 a little bird visited the top branch. it looked like a tit and a blue tit was calling at the same time. the last tit! was heard after the little bird flew away so i don't know if he was calling or were there two birds.
