thanks Sonchik!
i made a longer video.
by the way: this was a male tit. males sing, not females. besides in the picture one can see that it is indeed a male with large black collar. females have narrow collars.

14:35 a sound of landing?
yes, an eagle flew to the top. this wasn't one of our eagles. this was a youngster.
Image

14:36 (almost exactly) someone flew away. only the sound of departure was heard.

this was a blackbird. he was singing nearby. then he flew to the top and continued there.
i couldn't see when he flew away. maybe a tip of a wing was visible somewhere. 8-)

Yes: seems to be a very individual thing, this "hop-step-jump"-take-off style. Maybe we should call him Mr Bumpy?

i hope that the DDF people will give him a proper name soon, but i don't believe they will, certainly not before the autumn. we should see him beginning to rebuild the nest seriously.

good morning!

another question is whether anyone will come for a visit. it has become so quiet... not around. there are hundreds of birds singing, but they don't come for visits. the blue tits and other birds who came to get feathers are incubating.

in the mornings not only birds sing. during the last week there has been a buzzing of some insects which has become louder and louder. the buzzing is there most of the time but it's best audible in the mornings and evenings. i suspect there's a wasp nest under the nest.
3:44 a blackbird was singing nearby with the wasps.

the waning Moon.
