i haven't seen or heard anything special
(but i haven't much watched or listened either. the football games are absorbing most of the bandwidth in the evenings so it's virtually impossible to get any live stream here in the country. :bash: )

21:22 a raven called nearby. then my stream froze again. :bash:
yes, the raven was on the top. he flew there at 21:19. a raven is big enough to make a good sound when landing on the top. another raven called in the forest.
21:26 the raven flew away. he was out of sight all the time.

22:25 a woodcock flew by and called. i couldn't see him.

good morning Abigyl! it's so quiet without any wind. if there weren't bird singing one might think that the picture is frozen.

It is an Eurasian Siskin Spinus spinus

Actually the visitor 6:13 is also a juvenile siskin, you can hear it calling.
thank you sigge!

Just a guess: carduelis cannabina, Common Linnet?
My source of information: https://offene-naturfuehrer.de/web/Voge ... ellarisch) in German: You'll find the voice samples quite at the end of the chart, (violet section) the German name of the bird is: Bluthänfling.

June 18

good morning!

5:55 a little bird visited the top branch. a blue tit was singing at the same time. somehow i have the feeling that the bird on the top branch was not a blue tit. he was shaking her tail in that way that it reminded me of a common redstart (Phoenicurus phoenicurus). of course it was impossible to see if the bird was a redstart because it was seen only as a silhouette against the sky.
after the bird was gone the blue tit continued in the same way as before. then there was a gunshot.

someone was working with a chainsaw in the forest. he had been doing that already since 4:43.

6:14 a little light-coloured bird was walking on the branches on the lower right with her back down (!?). maybe it was a treecreeper.

14:46 a big dragonfly.
14:47 again / still. :D

14:51 again. :whistling:
i saw in the video that the dragonfly arrived at 13:56. she stayed on a stick on the right side of the nest, near the centre, flew away and returned many times.
14:56 she flew finally away, just a little before the eagle came.
