I heard some strange sound from an animal this evening. Wonder what kind of animal it is. It almost sounds as it is in trouble. :puzzled:

it's mating season of the deer. The males are behind the females and want mating
I think that that the sound is what you hear, and the sound of antlers

I hear the same sound in the distance just now 22:29 :)

Yes of course it must be from a deer. I never thought about that. :slap: Hehe...Thanks for your answer and also thanks for the link about the migration of the Crane. I saw two of them today in a field near my home. Have you seen the BBC program Earthflight? Very interesting about birds migration. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b018xsc1:)
