the eaglets whine and whistle


Lubana sitting on her Balcony. there is no food. Maybe she wants to animate the Eaglets to fly?

5:18 Pontu Time
Something must have happened. Previously, both eaglets have looked in the sky and also around.
Now both parents are in the nest. Lubana remained for an hour.


I'm sure there was someone. An intruder, like the days before? So early in the morning? Ame, maybe you can find out what it was?

interesting things have happened in the early morning! i'll look up the Pontu video if it will help to understand what it was about. downloading the file will take at least 3 hours... thank you Liz for the reports!

now everything seems to be normal: one eaglet eats and the other whines softly. i don't know who is who, but probably M is eating and P waiting. the food looks like a fish and there should be enough for both in that fish.

Lubana brought the fish. P has it and now eats first
M whined until Momy has flew away. Now he is calm

P has eaten enough. M nibbles listlessly at the Fisch.Er waiting for the fish to cut yourself?

i hear a parent warning near the nest..? (but my sound is choppy...)

eaglets stand still and silent. the fish lies on the left side of the nest and only a big black fly is interested in it.




i haven't seen so far what has happened here this morning or later in the day but i guess there is some intruder near the nest. probably an eagle..?

the alarm seems to be over, or the eaglets are getting tired of it. i haven't heard any warning calls for at least 10 min now.

one of the eaglets stretched its wings and then began to whine. i think it's Makonite.


she even went to the fish and took a test grip on it, but then she decided to wait for service.


15:10 they are still looking around and up...

15:17 eagle's calls. eaglets do not react in any special way.

15:18 (nearly 15:19) eagle's calls.

15:30 the fish had become interesting enough and one of the eaglets began to eat.


the other made wing exercises with some very high jumps.

i have now a Pontu clip of the intruder who came near the nest and made both Lubana and Sartas come to defend the nest and eaglets. it was someone with wings and i think it had to be an eagle because the parents took it so seriously.
it can be seen in only 4 frames of the video. it made two fly-by's the first at 5:17. on both occasions it flashes in the upper left corner of the picture. here only Lubana had arrived.


the second fly-by was at 5:19 when Sartas had already flown out of the nest and Lubana had got up on the left branch. again a dark shadow flies by.

i took some snapshots of the Pontu video.
Sartas came a few seconds later than Lubana. Makonite was quite astounded when not even he had nothing to bring even though also she had seen the intruder fly by the nest.


both parents called at the intruder but princess Makonite called at her parents: "FOOD!!"


she even tried to peck her father.

Makonite turned to the back left corner to see if Pukite was hiding something from her. Pukite knows that it is best to turn the head away from her sister when she is in that mood.


for some time she complained to her mother but then she got enough. she attacked on her father and he had to fly away.
