i think they'll stuff food in the nearest beak as long as it is beeping and opening. when the first gets enough it will close its mouth. hopefully the smaller still begs for food at that point.
-but now it seems that Sartas stopped before that. Lubana came somewhere near and Sartas left. then Lubana sneezed: toot! :D

one baby has its crop full.

now big wings left. Lubana did not come in to continue feeding.

an eagle flew around the nest in the back. someone is flying around there... :puzzled:

I think it is a smaller bird flying around, someone with white - a gull is not usually as silent ...

The chicks are wrestling - the smaller one must be hungry and angry - for a good reason

Are they chasing someone? If they were frightened, they would leave, but all "action" is around the nest area.

someone flew over the nest from right and above.

kids are boxing. .. and then some Creco-Roman again.

Bea, yes this sounds like chasing someone away, someone not worth even calling (?)

Is it possible that all the disturbance today is NOT caused by any human but by some birds?

my guess would be that this is caused by some 'natural' reason, not humans. i don't think they would make such a display for humans.

Sartas is back! :loveshower:

it came to my mind that maybe it was some 4-legged predator, pine marten or such. we didn't hear any bird's voices, except crows. for crows they would sit tightly on chicks, wouldn't they, like Lubana did for a few days back.
