He or it has been down there for at least 40 minutes, stumbling around on the same spot.

some dogs are having a conversation over the darkness. there are more than three i think at different distances.

i think i hear a tawny owl, too.

2:50 Cam is off. It was off late last night so maybe it has been off for hours. Did they decide to shut the cam during nightime?

No, they do not have. The camera is off, all other cameras work.

3 were in sight at the same time but one more flew downstairs.

i suppose no eagles are nearby because they are so quiet.
8:45 the last was sitting in the tree top and dropping some rubbish... it left at about 8:46:00.
