Marfo wrote:10:35 what bird called, shortly? A woodpecker?
ame wrote:this was a woodpecker yes. it made just one call. before i heard the lesser spotted woodpecker's calls i would have said that this was definitely a greater spotted woodpecker. actually i still think so. :D

No, it wasn't that short.. The bird flew away, was disturbed maybe. It was 10:35, maybe even 36?

:whistling: little bird 9:28 (27)?
ame wrote: (..), but the loudest caller is nutchatch.
Oh, of course :slap: I have known this bird call before but forgot again, how silly
Maybe it's because it called so nervously this time… Some calls take time to sink in the memory, I think.

I heard that one. When it started I thought it was a disturbed Blackbird but then I also was tending towards Nuthatch.
The sound quality of the cam sometimes makes some 'translation' necessary.

Yes, it's problem when some bird calls near the microphone. Voice can be very strange due to distortion

A good example is Great Tit when close. Some frequencies missing or reduced? I can hear Goldcrests calling, so the highest frequencies are not the problem.

Wow! What a weather! we can hear a thunder storm.

Liz, in 1-2 days there is a change in weather in south-east Europe, I hope the twins will leave with the winds there.
