14:10 Raimis got up again.
14:11 Milda came home. Raimis sang a little hmmhmm... to her but she didn't pay attention to him.

14:50 about 40 Milda called. i saw three (!) big birds in the sky flying away in an eagle manner. :puzzled:
eagles my foot. one of them was a crow. 8-)

15:42 Milda called at something. Raimis flew to the top of the tree. both called.
there's someone unwanted nearby... or was it a stranger who landed on the top? :shock: :puzzled:
it was Raimis. he has the one missing feather on his left wing. i saw the hole.


Milda acts strangely...

15:52:about 30 Milda flew out and the other eagle followed from the top. then two voices called from nearby.

16:26 Raimis flew out after standing a long time on the rim of the nest. he was looking out in the forest...
both sang nearby in the forest.

16:47 DTB (dad to be ) is bringing more hay, he needs it to hide the egg :rotf:

Today I watched in the morning and saw the empty nest... they hide it so well that it was hard to find it :mrgreen:

18:09 Milda called a few times.

then an eagle flew from the left to a tree in the meadow and landed there, right behind bunch of cones hanging on the poop branch.

... and Raimis brought some hay. :laugh:
18:13 Milda flew out.


18:38 Milda brought a dry spruce twig without needles. Raimis had the mating thought but Milda didn't pay any attention to him. 8-)


Milda started looking for fish left-overs.

The "office" of Durbe & Robert was on the left side, they flew to the nest from the upper left corner or from their trees in front of us.

Raimis likes the upper right corner, I saw him coming from the right with food and branches etc. Must be some water there too.

18:46 Raimis brought a big difficult stick. he tried to get it fit on the nest but finally the stick rolled almost over the rim of the nest. it was out of his reach. :slap:


18:50 Raimis took of and dropped the stick altogether. :laugh:
