Good Morning !

I checked the nest on the phone, and heard sounds like few gunshots between:

06:30 - 06:32 . Or was it falling logs ??

good morning!
another calm and sunny morning.
10:02:42 a red little bird on the right. a red crossbill probably. there's a flock of little birds around.
this is a close-up of the bird.

... the forum looks strange this morning, very stripped... :puzzled:

i'll check the sounds...
6:30 - 6:32 three snapping sounds. i think these were trees cracking with frost. if a tree falls down it would make a longer sound. and someone shooting in the dark, that does not sound plausible.

7:42 two deer walked by on the left side.
https://youtu.be/EzUSUQeNTuI
they continued under the nest with loud footsteps but out of sight thereafter.

10:08:05 a raven flew to the poop branch. called different funny voices, went upstairs and continued calling.
flew away but not far.

i logged out and re-logged in and now the forum looks normal. that's funny. :puzzled:
another thing: on Saturday i forgot to make videos of the noon-time visit of the eagles.
12:01 Raimis came
https://youtu.be/7Qd9URC6Fck

12:02 Milda came. they worked together and then they mated. this looked like the real thing.

12:06 Raimis flew out.

I had a technical problem too. Now it's OK

But where is Milda? I hope she didn't choose the other nest :slap:

i believe that Milda is somewhere eating. she'll need that. they are so well attached to this nest that i don't believe she is anywhere else. :D

12:06 (on Saturday) Ramis brought some hay.

12:13 Raimis jumped to the right branch.

11:32 Milda came. :D
11:33 Raimis sang and jumped on Milda's back... but Milda kept her tail tightly against the rim of the nest. this seemed to remain an attempted mating only although Raimis did everything according to the Eagle Kamasutra.
after standing on Milda's back for a while Raimis jumped to the left branch. well, bonding is also important.
