God Morning!

Biker, interesting picture I often see that it is very bright in the middle of the night.

7:18 it was a changeover. Cilla takes a break.

15:05 Snow is fallen and a fierce wind blows. Frome time to time one can hear the trees groan.





Biker , thank you for the picture. Interesting, that there's at night sometimes so much light.
I had a look at this nest tonight at about 4:30. Then the eagle wasn't to see, all was dark.

Male visits the nest while the female is breeding under a blanket of snow.

6:45 Cilla is coverd with snow. I think it is wet snow.


She doesn't want a change!

9:04 Male flew around the nest with a huge branch. He tries two landings with it.
In the end he loses the branch and comes to the nest. Female takes a break.

Long-tailed duck looks right. I don't think there are Egyptian geese in Latvia

The same awful weather here like at the Estonian WTE nest.
Poor eagles. I admire their power of endurance. But they haven't an alternative.

18:24 At least it has stopped snowing here. But it's very windy. The feathers on the eagles head are blown up, and he/she closed the eyes every now and then.
