I had such thoughts too. Thanks for explanations!
Milda is not subordinate nor obedient. she is The Boss.
So different eagles! As well as people.

this is the second time they were heard.
Liz heard some swans already yesterday morning:

Unless not swans were on January 10?
I already asked here whether swans fly away in the winter, but nobody answered.
Now I do not think that they depart.

I so laughed! It at first opened a beak as though wants to tell something. Then he opened it in spurts, as if it was rusted. :rotf:
Milda was shocked!

About them it is written that they migrate to the south. :puzzled: Unless they could be here in January?
I know! It was the pack of jays. :rotf:

Winters are not so cold anymore. The migratory behavior of the birds changes.
South means in this case, for example, Germany.
I'ave decided that in the future all unknown voices, jay are :rotf:

good morning!

7:40:13, 7:40:48 and 7:41:35 a pack of jays?

Liz :hi:
it was a bird any way.
https://youtu.be/oYn-PRBkRDM

btw: big birds like swans and geese migrate as far South as they have to, not farther. swans need open water for feeding and geese open feeding grounds. the archipelago between Finland and Sweden is full of swans, both whoopers and mutes. some swans even don't migrate at all. there is a group of swans staying in Kajaani in northern Finland (actually in the middle of Finland) in a river which stays open all winter.

7:50:20 (about) the voice again.
7:51 Milda got up to the top branch and called.

maybe there's a stranger in the forest. :puzzled:

7:52:03 again the kaa-kaa-kaaaa.
the voices sounded very much like the voices which we have thought were by jays.
this time i think, however, that the origin of the voice was another eagle because Milda seemed to react to the voice.
