8:24:05 Miks called. all family is there.

edit: i'm not sure about the eaglets.
i think it was mostly if not only Miks. sometimes his voice was not clear. i think those were the times when i thought it might be Rika.

I called Janis K. about microphone connection. Of course, it would be best to go tonight to safe the microphone, if no birds are present, but at the moment Janis has no opportunity. We have to wait one week and hope that none of the birds will touch the microphone / which is unlikely

I showed the trunk+micro to a professional in 3D Printers. He said that those printers are producing parts for human body and they are used in orthopedics and other medical fields.
To his opinion, it will be good to show this case to a local professional and find a way to cover the micro with a printer made plastic cover, looking like the pattern and colors of the trunk.
This might help to protect better the micro in the future.
And I will add, that even smell is important.

9:14 a jay was visiting and Miks cried in the forest. then he cried and flew
9:15 more crying on wings. i could not see him.

Liz, i think it was a frustration song. "no-fish"-song.

... i think that was the last call. Miks (?) got tired of waiting for breakfish being served at bed and flew away.

9:27 no more calls. it started raining.

10:43 a big bird to the top. an eaglet? i could not see well enough...?

it's Rika if it was an eaglet. it has not said a word...
it was Raimis!

10:50:30 Rika is singing fish song far.

Raimis called upstairs several times. he doesn't sound welcoming at all. the eaglet keeps crying hysterically nearby but not too close.

10:55:02 Raimis flew away. the eaglet stopped crying.
... after a while Rika started calling regularly.

5:16 geese were up early!


6:03 - 6:26 owl's calls. i think that the first strange voice must be a tawny owl. i'm not sure though.
later both pygmy owls called and two female tawny owls had a conversation.

6:28 - 6:50 all kind of birds were calling. a pygmy owl made his last calls and a cock crowed. blackbirds were talking... Liz gave a lively description of this on the previous page.


7:28 an eaglet called. Rika?

7:47 blue tits visited. i could not count how many, but certainly more than one.

8:22 the parents sang. then also the eaglets started calling till 8:22.
it was Miks most of the times, as usual.

8:31 onward Miks called many times and Rika a few times. Miks made about 10 calls and Rika one call in the same period of time.
9:15 a jay came for a visit and made all kinds of nice voices (read soft, for example imitated a squirrel ).
Miks cried while flying.
9:16 he cried again. his voice flew away. i could not see him.

the wobbling of the tree was less than normally so i think it was not an eagle, or it landed the top where the camera is attached to. (or both)

12:38 Miks flew to the top with a lot calls. he started a dialogue with Rika who had not flown far.

12:42 both started to call and cry hysterically...
12:43:35 a parent flew from right to left, apparently with a fish.

the kids flew after crying like they had fire under their tails.

13:00 a magpie flew by from left to right (not very near).
then a jay visited. mega2 has taken awesome pictures of her. - i tried to take pictures, too, but i only got two pictures of the top of the head, and only half of it.

13:06 a bird flew by from the meadow on the right to the left. at the same time eaglets were brawling on the left at some distance. i don't think that the bird in sight had anything to do with the eagles.
13:10 more eaglet's voices.
13:11 and more.
13:13 - 13:17 the parents called a few times separately and together. that sounded a bit odd. they were not singing, but i can't figure out what was going on there.
after that the eaglets called till 13:19.
