congratulations Abigyl! :headroll:
beware that it will not become a habit.

the pictures are about as clear as mine but we can always think that it was Vilnis.
anyway i believe that he is at the Eagle School in Skrunda and has become so fat that he can hardly fly. the crop of the eaglet was so big!

10:24:15 the stream stopped. too windy?

restarted after a few minutes.

10:44:12 stopped again. - is it only my stream? we have a mild storm here, too.

The stream sutters at the WTE and eagle owl cam. American cams running. So it must be because the wind.

10:39 I have a black picture
This is worse than the eagle owl nest. But here the wind is also much worse.

if i remember right the transmitter is in one of the tree tops nearby and the signal beam from the transmitter is rather narrow. so when the tree with the transmitter is swinging back and forth the beam easily misses the receiver in the teletower (which is also swinging but not so much).

10:52:04 the stream stopped again. ... and restarted.

If you look at the tail on my avatar, you can see the same 2 feathers in the center: the long in the middle and on its right- the shorter one, both cut diagonally.

It will be Interesting to see the sister; to see if they changed in the same way or the difference in food and love had some effects on them.

that is interesting news about the VLC. thank you!
now i'll have to consider if it is worthwhile to change back to VLC or not. i like the possibility to take pictures frame by frame with the P-player.

i made a few elementary tests. i'll add the results in the Technical department after the post by Liz where she tells about Youtube streaming with VLC, here:

ame, :hi: here you can see information about the technique used, the transmission of the data and a statistic about the Nest Observer. Very interesting is how the cameras are installed. We do not have such good pictures here?
