i have made some videos from this morning.

4:37 - 4:46 the eaglets were calling in the forest. i made some samples of their voices.

The first shout was at 4:36:46.

At 6:03 pigeons flew by with noise on a fir-tree on the right. Looked Mick at them.

what's the riot? i heard loud cries to the next room. now Rika is at home and Miks is out. did Rika dethrone Miks?
yes, she didn't have to do much more than to call "i'm coming!" and Miks flew out.




she made some rearrangements with the decor. then she lay down.

16:34 Miks flew by from right to left and cried as he flew. Rika cried on the nest.

They very interestingly talk.
In a yesterday's visit of Mika at 20:07 I listened carefully. Mika spoke quietly when Rika answered. When Rika long was silent, Mika began to be nervous and spoke more persistently, hysterical.
They want to know precisely where there is other baby bird.

17:49 an eaglet flew to the nest tree and landed under the nest on the right. it cried. i think it was Miks.
i marked with a star the place where his shadow can be seen moving in the video.
Miks himself is on the right above the kingfisher landing on the branch.


17:50:16 the eaglet flew away.

17:55:45 cries far in the forest, almost inaudible. food song?


it was as if Miks somehow knew where the food would be served.

18:56 an eaglet called.
18:57 again.

21:09:15 Rika called.
- i have been elsewhere. have they called earlier?

21:16:48 again calls.
21:19 more calls. and more. this time Miks. again.
they both are here.
both keep calling. it sounds just like Sonchik wrote a little while ago: they call to know where they are.

20:01 an eaglet flew to one of the oaks in the centre of the picture.
- this was probably Rika. the tail looked so white.


20:03 the eaglet flew away.


20:08 an eaglet called.
20:11 another called.

21:56 Both screaming near nest

i found something extremely exciting!
a golden oriole sang a long time above the nest, a special song. it was a mix of different themes, maybe subsong, but it also sang a familiar verses.
and the icing on top of the cherry: it showed it self.

the golden oriole has been missing from our "seen"-list so far.

i found that the eaglets started calling at 20:58. both called twice between 20:58 - 21:07.
edit: Sonchik noticed later that an eaglet flew by the nest tree during the first calls.

21:12 - 21:55 they called more or less regularly.
21:56 they cried in a way that sounded like last cries before starting to sleep.

the golden oriole has been missing from our "seen"-list so far.

it is always the case: he is hardly to be seen even if one stands directly under the tree in which he whistles on us
