liz, i'll ask the opinion of the other admins/mods about the GE topic. usually a new topic is started if some topic becomes very popular.
Thank you for answer. Then we wait to see if the couple is established. I will not have time to watch. But others are very interested.

Good afternoon!
Thanks for news!
What interesting couple visited a nest.
ame wrote: February 15th, 2019, 2:21 pm 14:12:40 a small flock of swans (about 6) flew to the right. :D
...
i made a close up clip of them. white birds are so difficult to see against the grey sky. :slap:
I too forget to add all the time several seconds to the beginning of a roller. :slap: Time is necessary until the red strip disappears. With it all the same to make out nothing. I know that swans appeared from behind the wood at 14:12:30 but them it is not visible the first seconds of video.

16:24 an eagle flew by from left to right.
hahhaaa! there were two eagles. i think it was the young couple.
both wanted to land on the top of the spruce on the right. the first had to leave and then he flew around. i guess that the female chased the male away from the top. :D
finally they both flew to the right.

i made a close-up clip of them.

In any case the golden eagle appears in a nest much more often than someone in the Estonian nest of WTE.
Yesterday's video with the jay imitating an eagle made my day! :headroll:
Quite worthy nest for a separate subject. :2thumbsup:

17:04 Raimis brought a piece of some food.
-- no, it was no food. Raimis came empty-handed. the brown thing (a leaf?) was in the nest already before. :slap:
Milda flew to the top branch.
Image

then Raimis turned the hay upside down. Milda came down to see better. also she dug the nest.

both have very big crops.
especially Raimis has such a big crop that it is a small miracle that he still can fly.

edit: this turned out to be more complicated than it first seemed.
at about 10:14:40 an eagle flew from right to left over the pond and vanished.
10:15:35 an eagle took off from the meadow under the poop branch. that was Raimis who brought hay. i could not see when he landed there. it is possible that Milda flew first and continued away over the pond and then Raimis came to pick hay. or there was only Raimis who flew over the pond, turned back and landed on the meadow to pick hay.
i simply cannot see. :faint:

...
In this point it appeared at 10:15:30, flew to the right and then to a nest. Approximately there it "disappeared" earlier.

Today's visits.
10:14

Swans and young couple. The second eagle was so funny with his feet before he landed on a branch at 14:20:11. They flew away to the right along the wood from where arrived. By the way, usually, guests depart on the left.
14:12, 14:19

Evening visit and shout of an eagle from the wood.
Raymis arrived at the left, flew over a meadow and again turned on the left, arrived in a nest.
17:04

The interesting voice was in 15:13-15:17, ringing and "metal".

ED: Cam was jumpy so I missed few important seconds of the mating (07:35) with the call :slap:

I think it's getting serious. They are watching the area. They came to the nest very early. Soon ... very soon, someone will always be at the nest

7:46 Raimis went back into the nest and settles down

7:47 Milda flies off
