after that i wasn't listening and i didn't find calls afterwards either untill
13:54 Rika called.
13:58 she cried more while flying i think. (i'm not 100%-certain that it was Rika)

14:01 - 14:54 many calls. i think that both eaglets were there. one (Miks probably) made most calls, but at a few times the other (Rika) called, too, very close or at the same time as the first.


at about 14:55 i turned my back on the camera and went away and it stopped at once!

i believe that Biruta Lapa has written when she has heard eagle's calls. probably Rika went on calling. i heard her voices till i left.

it's becoming dark... apparently nothing more than calls have been observed.
i hear far-away cranes.

20:29 they have come closer. a lot of crane's voices. they are on migration, still flying in the dark.

mallards have been seen in the GT-'transformations' in the past few days, but i think they are supposed to be wood pigeons...
i think that these birds were not eagles. the first looked too small for an eagle at that distance, and the second was too light to shake the nest tree when it landed on the top. i think they were wood pigeons or even smaller birds.

13:00 a magpie flew by from left to right (not very near).
then a jay visited. mega2 has taken awesome pictures of her. - i tried to take pictures, too, but i only got two pictures of the top of the head, and only half of it.

both eaglets are calling nearby. water is running in the stream under the tree.

for a few seconds i wondered is it normal that they still are here... and thought that we didn't hear them here last year at this time. ... then i remembered why we didn't hear them: they had killed the microphone!
