17:21 the eaglets saw something! both got up and spread wings.

no, they saw someone flying by. both called without sound. :laugh:

At 15:42 Mika nearly caught a dragonfly. The dragonfly there long flew also before and after.
At 15:47 the bunch of hay hung on Mika's beak. :laugh:
At 16:33 Riks did a poo.
At 17:03 Raimis bit fish. :laugh:

17:45 a parent flew away form the top. soon Milda landed on the nest.


i spent quite a lot of time trying to find when Milda came to the top but i failed to find it. i started looking from 15:54 when Raimis was still in the nest, i.e. long before the departure of Raimis.

it is likely that she came when the eaglets startled and chuckled at 17:22. they were probably not actually defending the nest, only taken by surprise by the sudden arrival. the tree didn't shake in the proper way though. after that the eaglets were not looking up either.
the parent seemed to leave the tree top, not only making a brief stop there. that is possible, however.

18:24 Milda fed mainly Riks, i think.

Well, this is fun...starting from 20:14:45 eaglet (Riks?) is pecking on Milda`s feathers and beak, moving on to her claws :mrgreen:
and it doesnt stop, Milda has to move herself to get away from this teaser kiddo :laugh:

i hope Riks will not do the same thing with Mika.
