it was raining hard all evening till late at night. by about 2 am the rain had stopped.

this morning:
5:45 Mika pooped and then made WE. then Rika made WE and pooped. then both made more WE.

5:55 activity moment: first Rika made WE and then Mika at 5:58.

6:48 Milda brought the fish and left.

7:02 Mika tried to steal the fish but Rika kept it and went on eating.

7:13 Mika managed to steal one rather big piece. she tried more but wasn't successful. Rika ate most of the fish.

äsch, Rika made WE and jumped on Mika's back. Mika didn't like that!
they had a short skirmish. in the end i think Rika hit Mika.


11:03 Rika found a fishbone (?) in the nest bottom. she swallowed it. soon she had to throw it up.

11:18 Raimis brought a fish with red tail and fins.


it looked like a perch.


one of the eaglets grabbed the fish but which..? it was Rika.
Raimis flew out.

was the first eaglet who got the fish Rika? yes, Rika took the fish first.
now the other, Mika has it and began to eat.

this was clever tactics. Mika pretended to ignore the fish and preened nonchalantly... then she slowly turned to Rika and slowly pulled the perch out of her claws. Rika didn't mind. she ate most of the big carp in the morning.

i found the voices at 6:28 but not the latter calls. i listened from 6:31 to 6:33. the eaglets did not react either.
to the 6:28 calls the eaglets reacted: they listened carefully.
