I admired it, too!
Mika flew away as well, holding the fish with one paw.

Good - that sounds much better. I hope, however, Mika is not like me: When I was little and had snatched something somebody else wanted, too, and the other person started running after me, unfailingly I would shriek and let the whatever it was thing drop, so that the other person wouldn't hunt me any longer I sure hope Mika does not drop the fish to avoid Rika chasing him!Sonchik wrote: ↑August 15th, 2019, 8:37 pm Speaking of fear, I don't mean horror.
Remember your childhood. Did you play catch-up or hide-and-seek? Were you a little scared when you were caught up or found? Perhaps you even screamed?
That's the kind of fear I mean. Venturesome.
Mika showed her courage more than once. She no longer feels real fear. Perhaps, in childhood was.
Great pics - those wings, fantastic!
Today we saw how well Mika handles the food on the branches (and how she screams). I believe she very rarely drops the fish.Ajeta wrote: ↑August 15th, 2019, 9:55 pm Great pics - those wings, fantastic!
From the sounds following after this scene, I would have hope that he was able to enjoy the fish, or at least a good part of it. Rika was heard, at least I thought so, for a long time in search mode. Also I had the impression that he got away very fast, his sounds faded quickly. But of course, that's all speculation. Such a pity we never know what exactly happens when we hear all those sounds and let our minds run wild with visions
what time is this?

to me it seemed that the bird who flew away was a wood pigeon.
