if this was a fish song then it was very short and not very intense. :puzzled:
12:45 calls for a while.
12:46 a short call.
12:47 again a short call.
12:48 a jay shrieked nearby and maybe an eaglet called far.
[youtube]ue-p4OZKoB8[/ youtube]
...
If the eaglet is alone, there's no reason to scream for longer. The length of the song is equal to the path of the parent from the horizon to the eaglet.
Maybe the parent had empty paws at all?

that would be a cause for a really loud and long and angry no-fish song!

13:16 an eaglet called far (difficult to hear).
13:43 Rika called near and also Milda called a short call.

13:53 - 14:26 eaglets called many times.

14:33 - 14:26 eaglets called and cried a lot. this may have been a food song.

14:37 someone is crying nearby.
another voice. both are there. :D

14:39:50 Rika
14:40:50 both
14:41:12 again both. they are fairly near.
14:42:53 both, a loooong cryyyy. they are becoming impatient. 8-)
both cry all the time.
do they see fish?? :puzzled:

From 14:33, the screams are very close. Is someone eating and someone jealous?

i don't think that they have food. both are very hungry and they are screaming at each other. :D

edit: i have heard now how they started calling and crying at 14:33. it may indeed be a fish song.

i was too lazy to identify them. there was one nuthatch, that is easy. :whistling:

14:51:33 Rika
14:52:11 Rika, then Miks, one after the other and at the same time. they agitate each other.
14:52:39
14:53:15 Rika. she calls more often than Miks.
14:53:48 Rika
14:55:07 Rika
14:55:33 Miks then Rika
14:56:04 Rika then Miks, a loooong cryyyy.
14:56:50 Rika Miks
14:57:15 again. there's hardly any pause.

15:10 - 15:12 both called and cried a lot.

15:22 - 15:38 Rika called many times. Miks had flown away without calling.

i have to go again.

17:15 Rika started to call a lot... then a parent (?) flew by from right to left and Rika's voice seemed to follow. yes, i think Rika flew by near the nest tree 'behind our backs'.
Image

a woodpecker flew to the trunk and climbed upstairs.

17:17:09 the woodpecker flew down from the top. and the parent flew by from left to right. the parent landed on the spruce on the right.
Image

17:19:31 the parent flew away to the right.
Image

i think that was a food delivery. eaglets are calling somewhere on the left.
here's the episode.

it sounds like Miks is calling now. perhaps Rika got food?
