Good Morning !

Since I heard Miks calling on the nest tree very early, I went back and heard owls and other low tweets, but not sounds of wings or landing.

It was really dark and I put the sound on high volume,

Is it possible that he was the one we heard moving on the tree sometimes during nights, in past weeks ?? :puzzled:

At 6:23, there was a sound of landing but the tree was not wobbling.
At 6:30, 6:32, 6:33, the parent answered the eagle.
At 6:35, 6:36, the eagle and parent shouted many times.
Talk 6:29-6:33

the temperatures are so unevenly distributed. :slap:
today is the Autumnal equinox. last year the parents started the re-building work.

thank you for the reports! :2thumbsup:
it is possible that the eaglets stay overnight in the nest tree. perhaps Miks landed under the nest. then he would not be able to shake the tree. he was certainly close when he called.
once he stayed on the top branch but i guess that somewhere below the nest, between the branches, it's more comfortable and more sheltered than upstairs.

You remember 2 weeks ago the "yellowish" tree?

Now most of them are still green.

Around 11:02 My SWANS :loveshower: :whistling:

11:01:58 They came from left upper corner; visible very well! I think there were 3 of them.

They flew by up, in front of nest, singing, invisible.

11:02:11 Visible again, above poop branch and in the sky on upper right corner.

Is it possible that I heard them very late at night? are they flying and calling in complete darkness?

11:43:49 Raimis is calling laud and long :innocent:

Abigyl, I found the swans. There were three. they sang beautifully. I missed it too :innocent:

BTW: They also fly when it's almost dark. I saw it when I lived in a house right on the Saaler Bodden in Pomerania. It was in December- January. They came to their resting- sleeping places at night.
