Good morning! I heard the bump but could not see it anymore, too dark. My nose was at the screen and for a second I thought it was Tuuli.
What sad pictures from this morning, soooo very, very wet. But great that Tormi found the way back to the nest.

I don't think that Tormi flying alredy outside the nest very far away, probably (s)he just staying on the branch in left out of camera view

Bubo: I also think that Tormi stays near the nest still some days. So when we have a look there we will meet him/her perhaps.

Bubo, I agree! Tormi was far enough not to be heard anymore, but close enough to come in the nest again.Bubo wrote:I don't think that Tormi flying alredy outside the nest very far away, probably (s)he just staying on the branch in left out of camera view

a parent visited Tormi some time ago, at 14.13. i didn't see the arrival so i did not see whether food was brought. Tormi was wet as a sewer rat but the parent wasn't quite soaking wet.

i think there were eagle calls from two distancies in the forest, first one from farther and then the second from a shorter distance, but away from the nest tree. i think the latter could be Tormi.
(gee, i can't stay by the cam, i've started to wash windows. that's a race against the Sun because i have go round the house washing those windows which are in shadow... gotta go... )

one more and then i'll go.. i think Tormi was in the nest tree after all. it dropped down from above the camera. then s/he jumped around the nest and to the back branch and keeps calling. i guess it's hungry.

Tormi came to the nest for a short visit. He flew in from the right. Than I had to look out of the window, because it is raining cats and dogs and when I was back to the nest, Tormi was gone again
now he is on the big branch...
he is so wet that he is black and white again. But the sun is coming out and he spreads his wings to dry his feathers
