BTW around march the webcams off the Dutch birdprotection will be open again, there we can see the nests of; Falco peregrinus, apis-apis, Falco tinnunculus, Athena Noctua and Alcedo atthis.
It's wonderful to watch, from the first day they meet, until the young-ones leave the nest.

Thanks for these information, Jasmijn. Will you tell us the exact link when the cams start?
Thank you! :bow:

Here is a link where you can see what happened last year.
You can click on all the different birdsnest and watch the special movies, made if something unusual or funny happend, so you can get an idea of how the nests look like and so on.

yarko wrote:Hi, little bit of information from Mr Looduskalender - nest is mostly empty now but it's normal. If mating is successful then we'll see it much more of course; eggs should be laid in the end of February.
Let's cross our fingers:)
Let's hope for eggs in the nest, then we can have a forum devoted to it and linked on LK main page!

I do very much agree Kuremari :headroll:
She's still sitting on the edge, can not deside to go and look for (and catch some) diner :laugh:
Every now and then she stretches her wings, but then, NO; I'm staying a while;
