Re: Buzzard Nest Webcam Discussion - 2012 ESTLAT
at 10.30 the first jumped in to the nest and the second flew in right after it.
again the second did not stay long.
the first was again sitting on the back branch for a long time... it took off at 10.35.
-that was a fairly long stay for the first one and the other dropped by twice.

Hello everybody
The last days I haven´t much time and whenever I took a short :peek: during the days I always saw an empty nest..
But today I am lucky, one buzzard stays at home sometimes calling

Pitti, maybe unlucky persons as we should only watch at Tiit and Tiina and perhaps at the ospreys-nest. Piret and Madis are friendly too.Pitti wrote:

Or should we better stay at Käsmu? Clouds, wind and waves are more reliable

No wind, no clouds and a very calm sea at Käsmu this evening - so, also not longer reliable for us

April 22nd
good morning!
8.21 a buzzard came to the nest and it's "making bed" there, talking silently to itself.
a little later it climbed to the back branch. it is sitting there silently, looking around.
thank you for the pictures! so it is was a rather uneventful day again, with no egg...
EDIT: the buzzard left at 8.28.
let's see how long it will take before it returns. i guess within 4 minutes...

it left at 8.34. i suppose it made some arrangements in the nest but it really isn't very hard working. mainly it just looks around...

the buzzard came back at 8.48.
this time it seems to be staying longer and it is working harder, arranging sticks and twigs. one bigger twig has been in the way across the nest over it. the buzzard has tried to turn it aside or to cut it away several times during these days. this time it tried really hard and for a long time to get rid of it, but with no success this time either...
it left at 9.05.

and back again at 9.26..... and left at 9.28.
it's doing more work this morning than in the last two weeks together. it looks like serious egg-business now.
edit (9.39): it seems to stay away for a longer time now. maybe it's time for breakfast. (coffee!)
