Wind is still very strong,it doesn't give Piret much of a chance to feed the chicks.
Now night has almost fallen.

19.13 shortly before Madis leaved nest
Image

22.40 didn´t see if Madis brought fish, but he was in nest when Piret began to eat - the chicks didn´t beg, so they were well feeded  well done parents
22.45 Piret has finished her meal and will cover the chicks again. Is there a broken line in the last egg?
Image

22.45 a Punto pic. in selection and enlarged - it looks as if there not only is a broken line but also a hole in the egg shell
Image

shall we meet junior the third in the morning?

Thanks to all for reports, pictures and videos

I am always slow to post pictures, but it looked like the hole and the crack were still there -- the chicks were perky though.
I looked at my image -- momma is leaning forward so the egg is very hard to see, but I think it is still as it was last night.

5:10 Piret returns! She begins moving a large Y-shaped stick around the nest (did she bring that with her? or was I fooled again?) The Two are chirping madly!

The wind is howling over the nest. It is a good time for mom to stick tight holding the youngsters down.

Two adults in the nest -- I don't know if there was a delivery or if the chicks got any food, but somebody was eating.
