:hi: All

BHP that feeding in the afternoon I saw too, but it was only 3 bites, next 2 feedings nothing, and it really looked week last night. Alice saw a feeding this morning, so I am very happy, and lets all hope for the best.

Piret is feeding and I see the little one :loveshower: and it is not looking weak and is getting food too!

Edit: Piret was blocking the view so not easy to say how much it got, feeding stopped and Piret flew away.

Fish delivery and feeding -- so far Piret is standing in front of the chicks so it is hard to see what is what.

I definitely saw her, at least once, reach back to the little one.

And they are almost quiet after feeding now that Piret has covered them again, also a good sign. I am very glad and relieved!

Feeding

Did anybody see if little one was fed? I was too late to see the beginning.

Edit: it is moving very strange, lying on its side. I don't know :puzzled:

jopie wrote:BHP, Thanks! Yes, maybe we are too worried too soon  Last night did not go well, but today it seems a little better, so maybe it is going through a difficult stage, with the other 2 being so big already and Piret having to pay extra attention to it. Maybe last night Piret didn't feel like it....... and Little one did not put enough effort in it.

14.27 Now at least all 3 chicks are well feeded and sleeping - growing fast. Think they all including Piret enjoy the bit of sunshine. Piret pays some attention to the noise of the chainsaw nearby that has worked since the end of feeding but is not alert.

Edit: chicks not very hungry. 2 oldest even turn away. Great opportunity for Little one
Few seconds later all turn towards Piret again.
