Nori standing in the pouring rain, waiting for leftovers, and screeching ..."daddy bring me a fishie"

You should be able to "edit" your post, gjuselover --- look for the word "Edit" on a tab in the lower right-hand part of your post.gjuselover wrote:Phu I quoted myself and dont know how to make it undone..

Madis delivered another fish. 6:55
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

I saw it live, and I watched Bratte's video, but I did not see it quite the same way - I think both backed up to make room for Madis and the fish, Uno was not even aware of Nori.
Nori was never in "danger" of being forced off the nest (she could always go around on the side).

On Chimega's picture- that wound on Madis' leg is reddish again ... we know that happened when Elo bit him!

I think Madis will be ok. We only have to worry if the chicks start growling.NancyM wrote:On Chimega's picture- that wound on Madis' leg is reddish again ... we know that happened when Elo bit him!

My computer can hardly play videos so I did not get a good review. I grant you Nori was in no danger, but I think all that mantling suggests they are aware of the threat of the other.

Nori seems to be eying the fish, in way that suggests she might be thinking about sneaking the fish away from Uno.

Alice....searched around for answer to foot nipping.....usually with adult osprey they tend to stay far away from the talons of another adult because of the risk of injury (obviously)....with Elo could it be he associates talons or feet with food since that's how its delivered? Wild guess here......now I'm going to bed
