A very windy day, also here at the nest - the nettles and the plant in the background are nearly blown flat

The plant in the background left looks like a sort of fern.
Have a nice evening...

Homedi :hi:

Yes, we wondered already about the plant .... for me it looks like a kind of fern, too, but ame suggested in a post from August, 23rd, it could be this one:

I suppose, Ame thought about "Persischer Bärenklau" (Heracleum persicum), it´s a sort of Apiaceae...
I see only, that the leafs and twigs are as in my garden, but i am no real gardener.
So I think about fern, but who cares?
In spring Tuuli and Remo will cut them and all is ok...

it's so nice to see a woodpecker finally after hearing their calls all the time!
thank you for the video and gif's!
in the early afternoon today the camera was off but later it had turned on. it was a beautiful sunny evening.

later it wasn't so sunny, it was going down but there were some bird calls, not so close. maybe woodpeckers again.

I'm so happy to still see the nest, I thought it might now be offline till next year. I find comfort in just seeing the nest and all the postings here. Off to go light a candle for sweet Stephi.

Hugs to all

Hello to all...

Every day, when the sun shines at this special place in the nest, I remember about Stephi.
The place, where she was in the last moments...

How beautiful that picture is, the light shining on the last place Stephi was. Thank your for posting that. I just lit another candle for her. She was just the most precious life....and will never, EVER, be forgotten.

Hello to all...

Some days before I wrote to you, that i´m programming at my homepage of TheHomedi

Now I am ready to show you the first pages:

If you want, go to http://www.TheHomedi.de

Please read this short instruction before test it:

You can select between pics of 6 nests or their live-cam
My nests at the time are:

Decorah
HWF Delta2 (Linux)
MNBound (Harmon)
LSE Tooni (Stephi)
LSE Eha (Kalev)
ESTLAT Osprey (S7,8,9)

If you view pics, the last one I have uploaded, is top-left, the oldest one bottom-right...
Move with the mouse over a pic, then you see the date of this pic.
I only make uploads with my own screenshots, maybe I don´t make screenshots daily...
To see the pic enlarge, click on the pic...

If you view the live-cam, choose a nest and you will get the lifestream, if online, just as at Ustream...
But without popups or commercial, also no chat or SS !!!

The third selection are my videos:
You can click on the "youtube"-text middle at the first page (with the pic of my Max)
Then you will direct change in my channel on youtube (TheHomedi).
So you can view my videos on youtube.

If you are on "TheHomedi", you can click on the moving banner at bottom of the page.
Then you will redirected to my private homepage.
There also is much to view...

My pages are ONLY private, no commercial !!!
Try the page and please write back an email if something doesn´t function...

Now, go to http://www.TheHomedi.de

Have fun and a nice day
Horst (Homedi or TheHomedi)
