Beautiful, fireblade!
I have been to the zoo. The birds I've met I have placed in the Birds, birds, birds topic, but I wanted to share the bear. It's a very old lady, widowed since some time, called Olga

Actually she was not more than 6 or 7 meters away, but there is a fence and a ditch between. But the way how she was coming out of the green reminded me very much of the bears in Alutaguse! I enjoyed the encounter very much, as you can imagine!

I'm glad there was a fence between Olga and you . That was surely a great experience .

Yes, it was! Where she is usually, it is further away, but that was on the side and there she's much closer! Wish I could have that experience once in Alutaguse!

I think that would be great, once in my (our) life a trip on Alutaguse and see the bears live in the bear hide

We should all meet and rent the hide there ...

For me it would take closer to Manu's country (Poschiavo GR) and to see the bear (M13). This bear was not afraid to steal at a school the honey.

I think for all three of us musing about it, it would be, Flex! But I don't think the people there, who would also rather shoot M13, would provide us with a hide to watch M13 stealing the honey ...

Since a few weeks I have a nice daily-visitor in my garden
He put the nuts in this hole and so he opened the shell of nuts.
Yesterday I saw they're two of woodpecker .

Funny that you show a woodpecker! I have met 2 woodpeckers when I went for shopping earlier. I really should keep my camera with me all the time! One of the was so close, just a meter away on a small newly planted tree and the other not much further in a bigger tree! I think they were quarreling! One of those crazy guys has not just made holes into the next building, but into ours now too!
Thanks for sharing, Manu! They are beautiful!

You have all wonderful birds around you!
On my birdfeeder in winter are mostly Blue Tits, Great Tits, several Blackbirds and a whole dynasty of sparrows
Only 100 meters away from my home is a farm with a fishpond and big, high trees around it, mostly poplars. This year a pair of Buzzards breeded there and managed to raise two chicks and they are hunting prey on the meadows around now - I always feel happy when I can see them in the sky and hear their "piuw-piuw" calls!

It's a shame I'm not a better photographer .
Wow, you have breeding buzzards near where you live, great.
It's the first time I saw woodpecker in my area. Perhaps they know now, I love all kind of birds .
Other visitors in my garden are, blue tits, great tits, and a lot of sparrows .
Hopefully next season the birds will feel good in my garden. Because my next project I've begun: The whole lawn will dug around and I'll plant native plants and shrubs for the animals. Hopefully the birds and hedgehogs will love it as much as I . Pictures will follow as soon as possible.
