could this be our Techno-Urmas alias Urmas Lett? he is the guy who takes care of the computer connections and other that kind of stuff, i.e. he is the man who makes it technically possible for us to see these cameras. he was expected to come today to make fine tuning of the picture.

thank you URMAS!

I heard yesterday in the evening that Boar-cam is back again and send the link immediately to my parents who love to watch this cam too :loveshower: . I'm so happy to hear this great news, but till now I did not have the possibility to take a look to the cam  .
Thats why a say THANK YOU @ ALL who made pictures and video's of yesterday  .
Great to see so much boars and others on the first day when cam is online.

A huge THANK YOU to all who made/make it possible to watch this nice cam and bring food to the boars  .
Now I wish all the "new" and "old" viewers of this cam a great season  .

Ame - I was wondering the same

To the new viewers of this camera - the feeding ground is maintained by local hunters, there is a shooting range nearby, so we may hear shots or shooting going on! WE should not worry too much about it!

If you want to see a bit of how the area looks like - there was a team from Estonian TV - Osoon - at the feeding place in early January this year: http://etv.err.ee/arhiiv.php?id=124359 - from around minute 9 onwards.
Here in forum we had followed the filming a few days earlier: from this page (about the middle) you can read what we saw: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=307&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=1700

macdoum wrote:Remember, for those who see this cam for the first time that its thanks to the hunting club (and Loodus and EENET of course) that the feeding place is available. The members of the hunting club have a clubhouse nearby & a firing range. If you hear voices and merrymaking, its from there, usually on weekends. Sometimes a shot is heard from the firing range as hunters adjust their firearms,so don't be alarmed.

We may even hear the wolf.. as it was suggested on the front page there is one loner in the forest.
Enjoy.. :peek:
